Petal Pattern Fairy Lamp on Standard

The seller of this lamp believes the cup and shade to be a marriage to the base. I would like to hear what others think. The seller says that the cup and shade glow under UV light while the base dosn't. However the pattern and style as well as the color match very well. Does anyone have a similar lamp that reacts the same way?
