Is this a Nursery Lamp??

I spotted this piece for sale online. When I saw it from the front, I was sure it was a nursery light; but then the side view reveals that the top opening is at an angle down the side rather than at the top, which wouldn't work with a burning candle. The size of the piece is right - approx. 3" tall x 3" wide. Anyone recognize it or have speculations?

With the angle of the opening, I don't think that this is a nursery lamp. I think that this is a figural tobacco jar. I posted a link to something similar currently on ebay. As you can see, the size and opening is close. The tobacco jars had a lid or cover that blended into the shape to look like a single piece. The lids are very often broken and sold as several different things to collectors. Its always better to ask that kick yourself later. This is just my thought, lets see what others think.
