Stray bases & inexpensive lamps wanted Empty Stray bases & inexpensive lamps wanted

I am working on a project for my wife. She is a librarian, and we recently purchased a Victorian real fixer-upper. It does have a room that she will use for her personal formal library. I'm a cabinetmaker by trade, and I am going to build the cabinets and bookshelves for her, complete with library ladder.

She also loves fairy lamps. She only has two, but loves any kind. I am going to make little cubbies for 24 all different lamps, and light them from below (or internally if there is a hole I can use). If you have any parts, especially bases, that you don't have a use for, or have any pieces (I can only afford modern inexpensive lamps, the others are too far out of my price range) that you would like to sell inexpensively, please let me know. Bulk is good - it can save on shipping.

Part of the goal is to use the 24 lights to light the whole room. I've got several methods that will help hide the lighting so the focus is on the lamps. The 24 lamps will be all over the room on all four walls, and will have a hidden control panel so the lamps can be turned on & off in several banks.

Thanks for reading my want ad!
