COULD THIS BE A BASE?
I just ran across this Nailsea glass bowl and started to wonder if this could be a base. I asked for the size of the small opening and the answer I got back told me they did not understand what I was asking. So, my question is, “Do you think this is a Fairy Lamp base?” You might want to take a look at R-638.

Well, it is going to be close. The opening scales to be about 2" but I have seen bases like this where the opening is a little too small for the cup. I think the only way to be sure is to ask the seller about in inner diameter. It needs to be at least 2", preferrably 2.25" Then you have to find the matching lamp cup and shade.
