brass fitting on Clarke pegged candle cup
Hello,
I bought a pair of pegged Clarke Cricklite fairy lamp cups yesterday. The one has a tapered wood dowel that is drilled to accept the glass peg and fit into a candlestick. The second one has a threaded brass fitting plastered onto the glass peg.
The flare at the top of the threads is stamped - CLARKE'S TRADE "CRICKLITE" MARK - around the circle.
I've never seen this fitting before, and am curious what fitting it was made to screw in to???
Thanks for looking, Jno

JNO - it would have fitted any small size Royal Worcester fitting or single glass standard type
Several other pictures on our website www.fairylamps.co.uk

Thanks cadking. I have a R-751 base, and now on closer inspecition, see the same fitting as the cup I bought the other day, but I never tried to take it apart before.
Thank you,
