Westmoreland Waterford pattern
I recently bought a Westmoreland Waterford cut-crystal fairy lamp in excellent condition. It is violet in color and in the years that I've been seeing this maker and pattern I've never seen violet before. Does anyone know if this color is particularly uncommon? Thanks in advance-Maddie

Hi Maddie,
I don't know much about the Westmoreland fairy lamps. However, there was an article in the August 2000 issue of our Newsletter. Perhaps you will find it helpful.
I have extracted the article from the Newsletter and put it on-line for you at:

Thank you Jim for pulling up the article. As soon as I can convince my laptop that we 'can' open and read this I'll check it out. Computers....sheesh! Maddie
