Fairy Base or bowl? Empty Fairy Base or bowl?

There is a item listed as: "Fairy Lamp Base Green Satin Piecrust Embossed Leaves". I don't recall seeing a base like this one. Even if you put a cup inside, you wouldn't see the leaves. Look at item #350040231774, or the link

What do you think?

Fairy Base or bowl? Empty Re: Fairy lamp base or bowl

Hi. I looked at this, too . I believe that it is a fairy lamp base for a 3 piece one that was made by Fenton for L.G.Wright. These were made about 1970 or so. The pattern was embossed rose. At one time or other I had almost all of these in clear and satin finish. The pic of the pattern doesn't show the rose but I believe that this is the base . Not long ago and it may still be on, was one of these in a light lavender color which I believe was the last or one of the last colors produced for these lamps. The lavender one did not have the center candle dish to make it complete. Thanks. John
