Interesting fairy lamp part

Post by justonslamps on Mon Mar 31, 2008 6:01 am

Check out eBay item # 180228874476. I would like to hear more about the clear bottomless ring that is part of this lamp. Any comment? Thanks. John

You have a keen eye, John.

I have a pair of these rings and surprisingly they came with a pair of bisque standards. However, I do not believe they were made for these standards even though they make the pyramid shade fit better. I believe they were made for the Clarke models 102 and 103 bronze wall brackets.

I wrote a short article on these rings in the May 2002 issue of the Fairy Lamp Club newsletter. I have extracted the article and put it on-line at:

Jim, thanks for the reply and I do remember that article. When you do the article about the fairy lamp dishes with the small center hole, I would be interested in having you post it here. Thanks. John
