ROYAL WORCESTER GRECIAN WATER CARRIER BASE Empty ROYAL WORCESTER GRECIAN WATER CARRIER BASE

Has anyone seen a ROYAL WORCESTER GRECIAN WATER CARRIER without the Cricklite mark as a Cricklite base? We have discussed in the past that these bases were used as oil lamps and electric lights, but those did not have the Cricklite stamp. There is a nice base offered on ebay right now without a Cricklite stamp and without any material on top of the pot to hold a fairy lamp top. Is this one of the examples that were created for an oil lamp top? See auction number 360896139509 for a closer look.

I am of the opinion, that if it is not marked "Cricklite" it may have been used for another purpose.  Or, for no other purpose at all.

In the following image, you will see a slight difference in the rim of the bowl.  Perhaps this is another clue of what the stand was to be used/not used for.  The white one is unmarked and others are unmarked also.
