It would indeed be spectacular! What a special example of Webb Burmese. Many times I wish that my pockets were not so shallow.

As a matter of curiosity.....

Is is common for pieces like this to have a hole in the foot? And, has anyone ever seen a pegged Burmese lamp cup? And again....considering the Burmese lamp cups are pressed, are they any other examples of pressed Webb Burmese?

WEBB & SONS QUEENS BURMESE GLASS CANDLE STICK

Post by cadking on Tue Apr 08, 2014 6:13 pm

As usual, when Iím killing time, Iím looking around on ebay. I just found an interesting little item. This is a Burmese candle stick decorated in Forget-me-not pattern with an acid Webb mark. If you had a peg cup and a dome with the same pattern, this could become a very nice addition to set it off from other examples. The candle stick is auction number 321301661122. Take a look if you get a chance.
