Twisted Nailsea Empty Twisted Nailsea

Post by GDUD Wed Jul 09, 2014 9:40 am

I was advised of this person over a year ago and corresponded with her as I have a matching dome that would fit the base. I basically said "what do you want for it", she said "make me an offer" which I did. She then came back and said "I was hoping for a bit more", so Again I reiterrated I will pay what ever you want within reason. She said "she didnt know what it was worth". Well emails went back and forth for several weeks and in the end I gave up.

Interesting. Apparently, this seller also has a twisted Nailsea fairy lamp base.  Following is a thread for Collectorsweekly.com

One of the hardest things to find is a fairy lamp made with twisted Nailsea glass. One of the next best things could be a nice small vase with the same pattern. One has just been posted on ebay as item number 261526731261. The link is :http://www.ebay.com/itm/261526731261. Go take a look. Here is one of the photos from the auction.
