Unusual Nailsea

There is an unusual Nailsea fairy lamp on eBay at:

I wanted to bring it to you attention because it shows how these shades are made. Just why this shade was not cut off properly is a mystery to me. Perhaps it was a "second." Or, perhaps, a "first."
