There is a new posting on ebay today of what looks like a undecorated version of R-678. From the description, it sounds like the candle cup is broken, but thats not all that bad. It would be nice if the color between the base and shade matched a little better, but still a nice lamp. Look for it at:

I bought this lamp and received it yesterday. It is actually 4 pieces. It has the little candle cup marked Clarke as well as the regular candle cup, the dome and the base. Photography is deceiving. When it is displayed on my shelf, the colors of the base and dome blend just fine. It doesn't look at all like a mismatch in color. It is a beautiful fairy lamp and I am glad I purchased it. There is a small crack in the candle cup, but it doesn't show and isn't significant to me, but if someone has a beaded Clarke candle cup for sale, I would be interested in purchasing it. Congratulations!!! I am very pleased the lamp turned out better than you expected. I'll keep an eye out for a beaded lamp cup for you. And, a Burmese cup for myself. Very Happy

Thanks. The Clarke burmese cup is the ultimate. Does anyone know if the fenton burmese cup is the same size and configuration as the Clarke burmese cup? I know we all like to be authentic with victorian lamps, but when that is not possible, if a fenton cup would do, and the look is the same---------maybe? Genene

The Fenton Burmese cups make excellent substitutions. They are nearly identical to the Clarke cups. There was a newsleterr article written in 1997 that discussed the striking similarities.

Here is your lamp with a Fenton Burmese cup:

Wow! Wish my lamp was decorated. What a beauty. Thanks for the photo. The task is to find a fenton burmese cup. Not easy either. Genene
