A rare muti-piece painted Burmese lamp
This multi-piece lamp is painted in the Woodbine pattern. It stands about 1/2 inch high (now) and was 40 inches in diameter (before being gathered into a pile). I hope that no one else needs suffer as I have. As I was working around some of my lamps when I caught this one with my elbow, and you can see the outcome. On the bright side, all of your pyramid-size Burmese domes just got a little more rare. This lamp is available for loan if you want to play a nasty trick on someone next April Fools day.

Oh, my! Someone you know all too well is shaking a finger at you right now. But, you are not the first nor the last person to have such an experience. My condolences on the loss of one of you "babies."

How very sad! Years ago, an elderly friend of mine broke the shade to one of her miniature lamps, and she went to bed for the next three days! Indeed, I share in your loss.
