Miniature nailsea shades
I rarely, if ever, see pyramid nailsea shades come up for sale. The pyramid size burmese are not uncommon in auctions. Are the nailsea pyramid shades a rare commodity?

Now that you mention it, I've seen very few.

They are certainly harder to come by than fairy size. That said, I have managed to acquire quite a few over the past 40 years. But, I bet I have not seen one in the past three years come up for auction.
Re: Miniature nailsea shades
I will agree that the Pyramid sized Nailsea shades are not overly common. I did purchase a blue shade in May of 2014 and what I thought was a red shade in September of 2014. The red one turned out to be described incorrectly and it turned out to be a Wee shade, so I'm not going to complain very loudly about the error.Red are the more common color, then blue, but white ones are almost non-existent. If you become frustrated, just remember, the hunt is the best part.
