Pond Lily Rose Bowl

One of our members, knowing that I need a pond lily fairy lamp base, alerted me to this e-Bay auction:
Since this particular pond lily base is designed for a rose bowl instead of a candle lamp shade, I thought I would take this oppoetunity to illustrate the differences between the two base designs.
Several years ago, one of our Club members wrote an article "Ribbon Satin Swirl, Mother of Pearl". In addition to a discussion on the type of glass used in the shades and rose bowls, there was a very good description of the differences betrween the two variations of pond lily bases.
