Is it a Wee or a Pyramid base ?

Hi All - We just purchased this Burmese quad base which measures 3.75in square



It came with a Pyramid Dome which I think makes it look a bit top heavy. Even with a straight sided cup, it only just balances on the folds


But I think a wee Burmese looks slightly more balanced and the cup actually sits down in/on the base


What do you all think - is it a Wee or Pyramid base??
Anyone else have one ?

I also have one the same size. While the pyramid-size straight sided cup fits, I think the Wee size makes for better porportions. Of course, mine will have to stay fitted with a pyramid-size shade for the foreseeable future......unless I get REALLY LUCKY. Personnally, I think you are on to something.....Wee-size base.

The following is a pretty close comparison of the Wee and Pyramid shades on the same size base. While my Pryamid cup seems to rest nicely on the rim of the base, the porportion (shade to base) is not as nice as the Wee shade on the base. The Pyramid shade seems much too large for the base.


Are there other styles of Wee cups that might be better for this base?
