I feel sorry for the mislead bidders on the first one. I think the seller of the buy-it-now is just trying to capitalize on the frenzy over the first one.

While very nice, this is the MOST common of the jeweled brass fairy lamps. On average, it shows up on ebay at least 6 times a year.

Do the auctions say “Brass with glass jewels” or “Gold with rare mined gems”? That would be the only explanation I could come up with.
