Very large RW Grecian Water Carrier
I have a report of a very large Grecian Water Carrier by Royal Worcester (Model 125). She stands 32" (about the height of a table top) to the top of the bowl on her head. Unfortunately, she does not have the candlelabra or the fitting that attaches the candelabra to the model. The bowl is threaded (approximately 1.25" diameter) to accept the fitting but I do not know what that fitting might look like. Any ideas? Does anyone have or has anyone seen a figure this large?

Surely this is the same size as the one on the front of the Rufs Book and total hieght ususally depends on plinth hieght. As for the bowl being threaded I believe this to be normal. Its not to accept an attachment directly but to stop the Alabaster which would hold the Brass fitting from just pulling out as the glazed inside of the Urn would not otherwise provide any grip.
Re: Very large RW Grecian Water Carrier
I should have read the Ruf discription more closely. I did not realize it was so large. And, I did not consider the "threads" in the bowl were not threads at all but, simply "grips". I will have to inquire about that. Thanks.
Re: Very large RW Grecian Water Carrier
Your are correct about the "threads". I have confirmed that they are not threads but plaster "grips" as you suggested.
