I am posting this for a new member.  They provided the following information:

There is an "F" on the switch knob, the base is iron, the dome piece is handmade and made of tin.  The petals around the socket is tin too.  It is a very old piece.

I would think that this electric lamp dates to the 1920s. Hope this helps.
